John Gwynne is an author whose books have been on my to-read list for a long time, especially given the high praise they often get in fantasy forums. Publisher: Orbit (Little, Brown Book Group) The Shadow of the Gods is the beginning of a new Norse inspired saga by John Gwynne, clutching the reader in the bloody world of Vigrið, as alliances and family take a new meaning.
